Recent shenanigans

It has been 5 months since we have posted anything on our blog. In those 5 months some things have taken place in our lives...some life changing :) Though I would love to elaborate on all that has taken place, I will just give a quick overview-
Dave applied for and was offered a job in Burns, Or. Only 2 hours from where we currently live-but it means that our family will move. A very difficult move for us and, as we thought we would live in Lakeview for quite some time...obviously a shocker. I will fill in all the juicy details later on. :)
My Grandma Brymer passed away On July 5th...one last 4th of July, I know how she loved the fireworks :) She was 94 years old.
Our sweet Grandma Cathy (Dave's mom) has cancer and is fighting valiantly. oxoxo
We participated in and survived another county fair.
School started...

As it stands I have 4 kids in school...all day...ALL DAY! I am working part time but I have Friday's off-what will I do with a whole day to myself?? Last Friday....I cleaned.

This year our back to school feast was a little different...I didn't feel like cooking after 5 days at the fair. So we totally mixed it up this year-not gonna lie, it was tasty :)

She walked away sooooo fast when she saw I had a camera. MOM SCORE!

 Notice the height difference...Tim has about 2 inches on Aleyna.

In all honestly, my heart broke a little as I watched each of them walk away...but I cried when  Kaitlyn did. My little ones are growing up so fast and my youngest is in 1st grade. I blubbered as I waved goodbye. Um...why yes I took the first day of school off of work-why do you ask?

We are getting on a schedule again and it feels like we are getting our groove back.

So much news to share and so little time. But the "plan" is to do better on keeping up on the ol' blog.


**Next time: a summer refresher...trip to Utah, swim lessons, Kaitlyn turns 6, s'mores in the back yard, Guinness book of world records and taking a pig to fair. Stay tuned :)
