Winter

We finally have winter in Oregon. For some on the west of the Cascades there is flooding. My parents who live in Central Oregon have snow, rain, ice, snow, rain, ice... For those of us who live in Lakeview, wet snow and rain, but at least it is moisture. We have been dry the entire season until Tuesday morning. Thank goodness it is finally showing up. Ah winter, we are glad you've come (it's about time!)
Dave is especially excited about the moisture and freezing, he took the day to go ice fishing at Dog lake. About a foot of ice on the lake, he spent about 4 hours out in the mooshy, wet weather and then came home. He took off his soaked gear and proclaimed that it was a 'blast'.... I am so very glad that my husband enjoys his job and is extra curricular activities, though it is wet and freezing out, he fishes on.

Wanna see what he brought home?

How can I not love this man!

In other news.....going to the Lakeview Gala tomorrow night, hmmmmm, not sure about this.

  1. The weather in Oregon has been crazy, no?
You are a lucky woman with that fishy guy of yours. David is the dream dad of Miles and Reece. They love nothing more than fishing, and what can I say... I just don't have it in me?!

In other news, we're making a run your way in July.
