First week of the new year down!

Hmmmm, what did we do this week. Dave and I are trying to recall the events that have taken place....we can't recall anything too grand that happened. Monday, office, home, cleaned up the whole house.... Tuesday, office, home, Wednesday, office, played basketball with the fam & friends at church, Thursday, Aleyna made me a spider, Friday, journey to Klamath Falls. For those of you who don't know, we live in Lakeview, Or. a tiny, tiny town in the middle of nowhere. We have two grocery stores, one that is going out of business, and the 39er, a tiny variety store that is like 1/4 size of a dollar store with higher prices. So once a month we venture to Klamath Falls...1 1/2 hours away, to shop at Sherm's Thunderbird market and get our groceries. Is it worth it? We think so, even if we have to spend the gas to get there, we have soooo much more to choose from there rather than our 9 isle Safeway (without deli and bakery) and Stewart's marketeria (soon to be gone). There is variety in K Falls (the in crowd call it this)like Wal-mart, Fred Meyer, Ross, Taco Bell, Burger King -we have Burger Queen here in Lakeview :)It is a long drive to get the things you need, but we enjoy getting out of town and going to the "big" city (roughly 35,000 pop). We were successful and had ice cream from Dairy Queen. It makes for a long day, but totally worth it. Back to the week...Saturday, chopped and stacked wood, put away the rest of the Christmas decorations, watched Quigley down under and got to bed late (we watched a friends kids). Sunday, church, to a friends for dinner and dessert, then home to get ready for the new week. Hope I can do a better job of remembering this week.

In other news......Zumba starts again tomorrow.
