I suppose it is because life just happens, family from Utah come to town,(love them and miss them...they should all move to Oregon), work, dentist appointments,(no cavities for Becca and braces in a year) small family reunion in LaPine...a grand goodbye to my Grandma, (she isn't doing well, I am so grateful for the knowledge I have of the Gospel and the plan of salvation!!!!) and house cleaning that never seems to end. Thank goodness I have time now....
Hmmmm, what to say? Tonight I am making pizza, and my kids love it, well, Tim may not love it as much as the rest.
"Mom, can I just have cereal?"
"No. We are all eating the same thing for dinner, the kitchen is not a fast food place."
"Yeah, well last time you made this pizza it tasted gross. I ate it, but it was gross."
"Huh, well you ate it then, and you will eat it tonight."
"Fine."
-Ah Timothy, I can always count on him for complete honesty, no matter what.
Today is Wednesday, my Friday-now onto the catch up on everything over the next few days that I haven't had the chance to get to because of work...PHEW! So things will get cleaned and put back to normal and then we will start the week again. Ah the circle of life and chaos. I LOVE IT!
Tomorrow we slaughter our first pig, his name is Bacon, things are gonna be crazy porked up around here for a while. Wanna come over for pork roast dinner...fresh off the pig?
Sorry for all the rambling, just wanted to throw all that out there without any rhyme or reason. oxoxox :)
In other news......it rained today and snowed in the mountains, this is a good thing.
I love your header picture! I know how you feel with the kiddos who won't eat the dinner you serve. We had that just last night. Both kids protested the food, and then my oldest (the more picky, stubborn one) ended up eating everything. Go figure. I never know what they're going to do next. I wish you were closer. I miss our morning commiserations in the back of the classroom.
