Guess what we did....

Just another day of house work and kiddos...but today we have proof (because we have a better computer and I can post pics...)that we do fun stuff, nay, we do silly stuff! Today we made cookies.

However, our cookie making skills come in the fashion of a Mad Tea Part-ay! I have all three little ones on the counter and they each get a turn to help out. After each little Pygmie gets their turn we all sing together "Move down, move down" to a melody that is slightly similar to a tea party from Alice in Wonderland, and I move one of them down to the end of the row and the other two move up...we laugh and eat chocolate chips and I fall in love with my kids all over again!

After we each place our own test cookie on the cookie sheet the kids go play and I finish up. We are able to eat the delish cookies of our labors and then share the rest with friends.

They were so yummy...chocolate chip toffee. We took a couple plates to friends and placed the rest in the cookie jar. The only downfall of making the cookies is that I eat them too. So I suppose that it is good that they don't stay around too long. :)

In other news.........I think that spring has finally come to Lakeview, Oregon!

  1. That is so cute! I love your system to let each child have a turn.
