For some reason I don't get on here as much as I would like. I think about it all the time...just never act upon the thought.
But tonight...Dave is out of town (field season is starting waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too early!!!) And the kids and I have been trying to do what we had planned, but alas, nope.
On the plus side, my mom came to see us for a day 1/2, it was very nice to visit with her. I love my mom.
Tonight all the kiddos are crashed in the family room. On couches and air mattresses. Some of them made it through Madagascar 3 and others just barely went off to dream land. I love my kids. Even though we don't always see eye to eye and I am always struggling with being a mom....I LOVE them! Tonight we cuddled and talked and planned. They are loving, spiritual little gutter snipes and I love them!
I am trying to get some sleep. But Timmy was having some tummy trouble and was up for a while. Now I am awake...and sick, did I mention that? Yep. I am sick. Throbbing head, sore throat and cough. But I don't want to take NyQuil...makes me uncomfortable to be 'knocked out' when Dave is gone. So I am chugging orange juice. Can't. Get. Sick.

In other news..........Gus turned two. The kids gave him a birthday party with presents. Tim had it all planned out. A boy and his dog.
