Tue-weeks since I last posted! Get it? It's Tuesday?

Yes, life has been on the fritz...why you ask? Because I got SICK!!! When I get sick it seems the home and family all come to a halt. Dave took great care of me and the kiddos, but he could only take 1 1/2 days off work. So he cooked and cared for the kids, he even cleaned a little. This is the same sickness that overtook my family a while back. You know the one, you feel like death and can't get out of bed? Well I got the same one, not happy about it at all! It also makes it a bit harder when you have to get out of bed and let me tell you I AM EXHAUSTED!!!!! I am on the mend now and able to walk among the living and not be embarrassed, though I would still rather be cuddled in blankets in my bed. I think that it was the chicken soup that a friend brought over for my eating pleasure that really got me feeling better!

*Well back to life...
Easter was cold here, snowing, raining, windy, BURRR. We hid eggs inside and the kids searched. And then the kids hid eggs for us and we searched, they were pretty tricky. It was nice to have a quiet Easter, but I really missed being with family. It is hard to live so far from the ones you love. But it is also good to hold tight to the ones you have close. I love my kiddos! They are a bunch of overactive, crazy, loud, argumentative, crying, dramatic, inventive, smiling, loving, creative kids! They are mine and I love them. They could hardly stand still for their Easter picture, and I thought it would only be fitting to post the best of the best! This was taken right after Aleyna pulled her dress up to fix her undies, Timothy popped Kaitlyn on the head and Rebecca was sticking her tongue out and flailing her arms. I can't believe they paused long enough to get this! Hope you all had a great Easter too! Happy Tuesday!

  2. Woohoo! Pictures! I love getting to see your little family. They have grown up SO much!!

Just so you don't feel like you're missing out too much, we had one of those big Easter egg hunts with all the cousins and several families from my in-laws ward. We realized afterward that Phaedra probably exposed everyone to Fifth Disease, and one of the other kids exposed us all to strep throat. Fun fun!
