A Day To Re-Clean

Monday is my day to get the house clean after the weekend. But does the house ever stay clean.....NO. So today I am at it again, though I have help. No school for Becca today so she is on top of the chore list. She has made the list, assigned each person to a job and she is excited about it. She gets her list making abilities from her dad and her enthusiasm for cleaning from me. I like a clean house! I like it to look nice when I come home, when Dave comes home or when a visitor drops by unexpectedly. Downstairs is always tidy, upstairs....where we live....that is a different story. Things don't have to be spotless, I just want them in some type of sane order. But today is a kind of break for me, Rebecca is on fire. The downstairs is already clean and the kids are in the process of cleaning the upstairs. I think we will even get to clean the carpets today. I love cleaning harmony!

In other news.....Nephews and one neice are wrestling at the Nationals in Reno! Good Luck guys!

  1. How wonderful! I need Eleanor to take some lessons from Becca. She gets so whiny and weepy when I try to get her to clean. The other day, I had her daddy try to talk to her over the phone because she wouldn't pick up a pile of books she had brought out to the living room (with a promise that she would clean them up when she was done). She told her dad, "Oh, but all I do all the day long is clean up and clean and clean!"
    Ha! If only!
