Sunday night: Prepared for the big V-day par-tay at Beccas school, thank you Alison & Kirsten for your great ideas! (Alison.....could not find squeeze-its!) Anyhow....Got the treats made, they turned out yummy, I did eat one...or three :( made Valentines and then....I heard it, the first cough!
Monday morning: (V-DAY) Kaitlyn-hacking, Timothy-hacking, Rebecca-partial hacking, Aleyna-tiny mini hacks, the Hubby, sounds like fake hacking..... So it began! I had to cancel plans with a friend to make delightful truffles, so sad! Then the hubby came home for lunch...."Diana, I am done for the day!" "Oh yeah, and I meant to get you roses." And just so you know he never takes sick days! He slept from noon-ish til about eight-ish. And that was my Valentines day!
Tuesday: ALL KIDS-hacking, whooping, snotting, sneezing, griping, groaning, moping, etc. The hubby went to a meeting in Bend and ended up staying at my moms because he was too sick to drive home. My nighttime noises: Da da da da da hack, hack, cough, hack, da da da da da cough, cough, hack, hack. Not to mention the delightful sound of two, yes 2 humidifiers...I personally do not like the added noise!
Wednesday: See above! Hubby drove home and went right back to bed. It looks like I am pulling another shift tonight!
In other news.....we are getting a D-O-G! A great Pyrenees and lab mix. It was love at first nuzzle!
