July....so far

Summer has gone by so fast and it is already July! We have been busy, very busy. Work to be done around the house, yard work, work work and never ending laundry. I get a little crazy some days, maybe because we are not on a schedule right now, or maybe because the kids get antsy and drive each other nuts, or perhaps it is this heat, who knows, but I am off a little. I have proof. The kids laughed at me one evening when I fed them this for dinner.....



There was fruit so it was healthy!

We have been traveling, sometimes just short trips, and the kids have been great considering how much we have been on the move....and how much we still have to go.

Right now I have a dear friend visiting from Wyoming. It has been so nice to have the lovely Krista Howe here with me, I miss Laramie. We picked her up in Reno at the airport (we had the chance to visit family while we were there...too short of a visit though) She flies home on Tuesday, so we will drive back to Reno. Then the kids and I will travel up to my parents to visit with my brother who is on leave. The week after that my mom and dad-in-law will come for a visit and bring with them two of my beautiful nieces.
August brings a family reunion in Lake Tahoe and maybe a quick trip to a friends wedding....so much to do and it feels like summer if flying by. The great thing is how much family we get to see this summer. Living so far from everyone is very hard, so these extra visits make it lovely.

I am so glad the kids are still smiling through all of this crazy chaos. They are sure troopers.







In other news.......mosquitoes are very bad here, they are Jurassic mosquitoes and they bite through clothes and are immune to bug spray...RUNNNNNNNNNNNN
