January 2011

Happy New Year! I hope that everyone had a spectacular time with friends and family over the Christmas and New Year Holiday. I did. I had the chance to spend time with my family, we were all together....all of us! It was quite fun, busy and very worth it. We took family photos, ate and laughed, I am sure I reconnected my body with the weight that it tried so desperately to rid itself of...I guess they belong together! New Years Eve was delightful as we spent some time with friends, laughing and eating our way into the new year.
I have not made any New Years resolutions, I have many things I could improve upon, but nothing that I want to start today. Today I am tired! I should be writing out my goals, such as eating better, working on living healthier and having an exercise plan, making a monthly menu and shopping by it, keeping a better plan for the kids and getting the twins ready for school, ie; reading, writing etc. But today, I am TIRED! After a whirlwind of travel , family and friends, today I just want to put on a good movie, fold clothes and stay in my jammies....considering that it is almost 11:00, I think I am doing pretty well with my plan!
So...how are you? Have you made any resolutions? Have you started on them, or are you like me today and you would rather stay in your jammies?
At any rate, I hope you are doing well and that you are more motivated than I am. Happy New Year, and happy first Tuesday of 2011!

  1. I think I'm like you just about every day, wanting to stay in my jammies. I didn't bother writing down resolutions this year. I still have the ones I've been recycling the past two years to work on. I'll just keep chipping away at them. Maybe I'll have something accomplished by the time my kids go to college.

I ought to be prepping Eleanor for school, too. I just can't believe she'll be in Kindergarten this year. I'm not ready! I'm so afraid she'll lose her sweet childhood innocence. Plus, truth be told, I'm not ready for early mornings trying to get her ready!
